Plus, Gaga discusses how she got into and stayed with her dark persona
Story
Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and director Todd Phillips talk about what scared them the most about the upcoming musical sequel. . The film is subtitled Folie a Deux; means "madness of two" in french This initially led to speculation about Harley Quinn appearing in the film, which was soon confirmed. The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to describe two or more people who share the same insanity or delusion.
It is also known as Lasègue-Falret syndrome

Their personalities change
The director continues to make a sequel, which is unfortunately empty and devoid of character development. Phillips has outdone himself by directing a film whose cinematography and/or visuals capture all the feelings and emotions he wants to say and express. BUT, he failed to create a compelling story. From the first part to the second, the characters of the film usually change. Their arc falls or tilts. Events/obstacles come their way to change their lives.
The result is a boring movie that is ONLY visually entertaining
OR new characters enter their lives, which opens the door to more interesting events that result in Folie à Deux. Joker/Arthur Fleck's life doesn't seem to have changed much in this movie with the addition of Gaga's character Lee. Instead, the film constantly repeats its events, revisiting the past (the first Joker film) or reacting to some of its scenes. He also keeps returning to the same locations and events in this film. This movie has the two main characters in the Gotham world Harvey Dent played horribly by Harry Lawtey and written even worse. At the end of the movie I felt it was unnecessary and was used because of its "title".
in comic book fandom
The same goes for Lady Gaga's Lee, who just felt like she wasn't even in this movie. I loved how this movie uses music/songs to show that it's an escape from our inner selves. But the choice of songs was not right. On the other hand, their performance was perfectly executed by the cinematic skills of Gaga or Joaquin Phoenix and Lawrence Sher.
